RIEGL will be exhibiting at AUVSI XPONENTIAL 2022 taking place from April 25 – April 28, 2022 at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida! Save the date and visit them at Booth #1921. Meet the RIEGL experts and learn more about the latest developments in RIEGL Ultimate LiDARTM Technology for UAV-based surveying applications!

From energy to transportation, construction to defense, and so many more opportunities for cross-market networking, AUVSI XPONENTIAL is the place to join the unmanned systems community including users, technologists and policymakers to collaborate on ideas, share lessons learned and build new partnerships.

Explore RIEGL’s portfolio of UAV-based LiDAR sensors on display at Booth #1921:

The RIEGL VQ-840-G system mounted on Harris Aerial’s Carrier H6 HL. A fully integrated compact airborne laser scanner for combined bathymetric and topographic surveying. The system is offered with an optionally integrated and factory-calibrated GNSS/IMU system and can be complemented with an optional camera or IR rangefinder. The VQ-840-G is a compact and lightweight LiDAR system to be installed on various platforms including UAVs.

The RIEGL VUX-1UAV system mounted on Skyfront’s Perimeter8 Drone. A complete miniaturized airborne laser scanning system solution of low weight and compact size for flexible use in UAS/UAV/RPAS, helicopter, gyrocopter and ultra-light aircraft installations. The system consists of the RIEGL VUX-1UAV laser scanner, an IMU/GNSS system, a control unit and up to 4 optional cameras.

The RIEGL VUX-120 system mounted on Harris Aerial’s Carrier H6 Hybrid Drone with NEW H2400EFI generator. A lightweight and versatile airborne laser scanner offering a wide field of view of 100 degrees and an extremely fast data acquisition rate of up to 1.8 MHz. Thus, it is perfectly suited for high point density corridor mapping applications. The measuring beam of the RIEGL VUX-120 is consecutively scanned in three different directions: it alternates from +10 degrees forward, to strictly nadir, and to -10 degrees backward.

The RIEGL miniVUX-3UAV system mounted on a Watts Innovations Prism Drone. An extremely lightweight airborne laser scanner, designed specifically for integration with UAS/UAV/RPAS. The sister type of the proven RIEGL miniVUX-2UAV and RIEGL miniVUX-1UAV sensor offers a selectable 100 kHz, 200 kHz, and 300 kHz laser pulse repetition rate (PRR). With 300 kHz PRR, the sensor provides up to 100,000 measurements per second at 120° FoV and thus a dense point pattern on the ground for UAV-based applications that require the acquisition of small objects

The RIEGL miniVUX-1UAV system mounted on FreeFly’s AltaX Drone. A user-friendly and cost-efficient device to acquire survey-grade measurement data by use of remotely piloted helicopters and unmanned aircrafts for a variety of applications.

You will also see RIEGL sensors integrated into a variety of solutions featured throughout the AUVSI 2022 tradeshow floor.
