Zurich City Police in Switzerland Using RIEGL Scanners for Crash Scene Investigation

After serious roadway collisions, emergency responders are required to document the scene accurately and collect other court-admissible forensic evidence.

The Accident Engineering Service of the Zurich City Police has, among other technologies, been using RIEGL 3D terrestrial laser scanners for accident scene investigation.
