My-Linh holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Central Florida. She has been an integral part of RIEGL USA’s success since joining in 2010. Her focus for nearly ten years has been the expansion and development of the commercial UAS LiDAR marketplace, and as the Division Manager of Unmanned Laser Scanning, she has been influential in advancements to increase visibility on business development in a variety of market verticals. As an advocate for the development of youth engagement and increasing female representation in the industry, she is a proponent for STEM education and is proud to serve on the MAPPS Board of Directors representing the Associate Members.
Michael Sitar
Division Manager | Airborne Laser Scanning, RIEGL USA
Michael Sitar holds a Master’s degree in Environmental Studies (Geography) from the University of Waterloo, a BSc in Environmental Science from Nipissing University and a Diploma in Environmental Biology Technology from Canadore College. He has over twenty years of experience in the product and business management of survey sensors and solutions for leading lidar manufacturers. His focus is the development and implementation of strategic growth plans in existing and future LiDAR market verticals to increase RIEGL market share and brand recognition within North America.
Tan Nguyen
Business Development Manager | Terrestrial Laser Scanning, RIEGL USA
Tan Nguyen graduated from the University of Central Florida with a B.A.S.A. In Business. He has obtained a vast array of experience in Sales, applications, and business was development, focusing on the advancement in technology within the LiDAR industry and expansion of the terrestrial focused market. He has been with RIEGL USA for over 15yrs, and is the Division Manager of Terrestrial Laser Scanning, where he brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise within systems and software processing for data collection.
Joshua France
Division Manager | Mobile Laser Scanning, RIEGL USA
Joshua France holds a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace from the University of Cincinatti nearly 20 years of experience within the Geospatial industry. For the past 15 years at RIEGL USA, Joshua has been a vital team member in the development of the Mobile business division in a sales, support, and training capacity. He has worked to expand the mobile mapping market and maintain excellent relationships with existing customers. When not on the road for customer visits or conferences, Joshua is a father of two boys, a soccer coach, and boy scout leader.

Claudio Avello holds a degree and certifications in Engineering and Land Surveying from the Universidad de Santiago de Chile and has over 20 years of experience in the industry. From his time in the field to his roles within a sales capacity, he has acquired a vast amount of knowledge that makes him a subject matter expert. In 2019, Claudio joined the RIEGL USA team as the Regional Sales Manager for LATAM based out of Santiago, Chile. Being fluent in Spanish, Portuguese, and English gave him an edge within the region paired with his passion for teamwork and setting clear objectives. He is especially attuned to client needs and builds trust based upon a thorough understanding of their business to create mutual opportunities.
