RIEGL Australia recently published a Case Study featuring MNG using their new RIEGL VMX-2HA system for a survey project at Kings Park in Perth City, Australia. The Kings Park Botanic Gardens and Parks Authority are internationally recognized for their scientific research, leading horticulture, conservation and public education.
As one of the largest inner city parks in the world, Kings Park contains botanical gardens that house over 2,000 of Western Australia’s local plant species including unique wildflowers. To further compliment this survey, the addition of Aerial Laser Scanning with the VQ-480 II was implemented to reach more challenging terrains with dense vegetation.
