Eine neue DA62 MPP SurveyStar wurde von Diamond Aircraft Austria an RIEGL Laser Measurement Systems GmbH übergeben und wird ab sofort für Test- und Kalibrationsflüge zum Einsatz kommen.
RIEGL und Diamond Aircraft Austria arbeiten seit bald 20 Jahren eng zusammen. Seit 2007 hatte RIEGL die bewährte DA42 MPP GeoStar in Besitz und Betrieb, welche bis heute alle Einsätze zur vollsten Zufriedenheit erfüllt hat. Die in den letzten Jahren gestiegenen Anforderungen haben nun eine „Aufrüstung“ auf die neue DA62 MPP SurveyStar erforderlich gemacht.
Auch bei der neuen DA62 MPP SurveyStar wurde von Beginn an auf enge Zusammenarbeit geachtet um sicherzustellen, dass das komplette RIEGL Sensoren- und System-Portfolio professionell integriert und effizient eingesetzt werden kann.

Das 20-Zoll-Hatch im Rumpf ermöglicht zusätzlich den Einbau aller RIEGL Großsysteme und die Verwendung von gyroskopisch-stabilisierten Montageplattformen. Es wurden unter anderem auch alle Vorkehrungen getroffen, dass zusätzliches Equipment wie z.B.: Datenrekorder, Kameracontroller, usw. sowohl im vorderen Gepäcksraum in der Flugzeugnase, als auch im hinteren Gepäcksraum installiert werden können. Mit all diesen Möglichkeiten zeigt die Diamond Aircraft DA62 MPP Survey Star wie vielfältig verwendbar sie ist, und aus diesem Grund ist sie auch für unsere vielfältigen Testeinsätze bestens geeignet.“

New Diamond DA62 MPP SurveyStar for the RIEGL Test Aircraft Fleet

The new DA62 MPP SurveyStar has been delivered by Diamond Aircraft Austria to RIEGL Laser Measurement Systems and it will be immediately implemented for test and calibration flights.
RIEGL and Diamond Aircraft Austria have been collaborating for almost 20 years. Since 2007, RIEGL has owned and operated the proven DA42 MPP GeoStar, which has successfully completed all missions to date with the utmost satisfaction. The increased requirements in recent years have now made it necessary to “upgrade” to the new DA62 MPP SurveyStar.
The new DA62 MPP SurveyStar involved close collaboration between RIEGL and Diamond Aircraft in order to professionally integrate and efficiently utilize the entire RIEGL sensor and system portfolio.
